About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed General Manager of OSHC to join our team, based in Sydney NSW. In this pivotal leadership position you will provide professional support and mentorship to Program Managers, ensuring that our programs deliver high‑quality middle childhood education and care that exceeds the National Quality Standard.

In this role you will
* Lead and Mentor: Build the leadership capacity of Program Managers, empowering them to deliver exceptional care and education.
* Drive Excellence: Supported by the pedagogical team, ensure our programs achieve and maintain an exceeding rating by staying informed of best practices and driving pedagogical performance.
* Foster Community: Work collaboratively with Program Managers to ensure our programs are deeply embedded within local school communities, enhancing the experience for children, families and schools.
* Promote Continuous Improvement: Champion processes that improve assessment and rating outcomes, ensuring our processes are always striving for excellence.
* Ensure Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of governing laws and regulations, ensuring all programs are compliant and uphold the highest standards.
* Support Financial Success: Guide Program Managers in achieving financial targets, ensuring strong business disciplines are in place.
What We're Looking For
* Experienced Leader: Background in early or middle childhood education with leadership and managerial experience in multi‑site teams.
* Pedagogical and Compliance Expertise: Strong knowledge of National Law, Regulations, and the National Quality Standard; deep understanding of how to drive pedagogical performance.
* Community‑Minded: Commitment to embedding our programs within local communities and driving initiatives that reflect Gowrie NSW's vision and values, with a focus on inclusion and diversity.
* Strategic Thinker: Ability to achieve business outcomes through strong commercial acumen and problem‑solving skills.
* Exceptional Communicator: Engaging people leader with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, able to inspire and influence.

Qualifications / Certifications
* Diploma or tertiary qualification in early childhood education (e.g., university degree)
* Current driver's licence
