We have offices in Bendigo and Shepparton and work with people in regional and rural Victoria who experience disadvantage relating to their housing, family, relationship, consumer, economic, social and civil rights.
Job Description
About the role
The Administration Coordinator is an integral role that combines intake and reception services with office coordination and support. The role reports to the Team Leader – Intake and will supervise the Legal Intake Officer based at ARC Justice's Shepparton office.
The Intake Team delivers intake services, performs important data collection for ARC Justice and are responsible for client data management, administration of the appointment diary and email correspondence. The team also supports service coordination, volunteers and community legal education through agreed processes. Para-legal support for the lawyers can also be required as part of the role.
As part of the Intake Team, the Administration Coordinator assists with delivery of intake and reception services. The role will require the appointee to identify a client's legal or housing concerns, provide appropriate information and referrals to both in-house and external services and, where appropriate, book appointments.
The office coordination part of the role will require the appointee to work with the Facilities Officer, IT Manager, and Director of Operations to be the first point of call for the Shepparton office of ARC Justice relating to facilities, technology, fleet cars, and other day-to-day matters. The Administration Coordinator will be asked to fulfil OHS duties and roles such as Fire Warden.

Experience and knowledge of general office and reception duties.

Awareness of community organisations and the social and economic issues that impact on legal issues in the community in the Goulburn Valley area.
Experience in a Community Legal Centre or other legal practice.
OHS experience
Experience supervising staff and/or managing an office environment
Certificate IV in Business Studies or Community Services or similar from a recognised tertiary institution would be highly regarded.
