Metroll Perth is seeking a reliable, hands-on Roll Forming Operator to join our night shift team (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM). If you take pride in quality work, enjoy working with machinery, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role is for you.
The Role
Operate and monitor roll forming machinery to produce high-quality components for industrial storage systems including pallet racking, shelving, and mezzanines. Safety, precision, and continuous improvement are key to our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up roll forming machines, including calibration, cleaning, and tooling changes
* Operate and monitor equipment for consistent output
* Adjust machine settings (speed, pressure, alignment)
* Load metal coils and raw materials
* Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
* Conduct quality checks in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Maintain accurate production and quality records
* Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimise performance
About You
* Experience in manufacturing or production environments
* Roll forming experience highly desirable
* Comfortable with high-speed machinery and precision measuring tools
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
* High Risk LF Licence advantageous
* Physically fit and able to handle metal materials
* Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
