Job Description This role is for a Senior Accountant with exceptional financial and management accounting experience to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering monthly and yearly P&Ls, balance sheets, and reconciliations. In addition, you will be tasked with creating management reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and models to track KPIs financial performance, and identify potential risks and opportunities. Key responsibilities: Delivering monthly and yearly P&Ls, balance sheets, and reconciliations Creating management reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and models to track KPI's financial performance Identifying potential risks and opportunities Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including expertise in GST, payroll taxes, and ASIC reporting, as well as income tax calculations and quarterly sales commission calculations Supporting strategic planning and business decision making through sales pipeline reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting Developing and driving process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance Collaborating effectively across all levels of the organisation Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or related field Qualified as a CPA or CA Previous relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services or similar environment Strong knowledge of transactional accounting, management accounting, and financial accounting principles and practices An expert in sales pipeline and financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting Excellent understanding of internal controls, and compliance requirements Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Additional Information Why join us: At NCS Australia, you'll be part of a team that values your growth and development.
