* This role involves performing scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting customer-focused scheduled and breakdown services, preparing field-based quotes for customers, and recording notes and filing service records appropriately.
* They will also assist in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs, access industry-leading training and development, and grade progression opportunities, including potential opportunities to train less experienced service technicians in more complex aspects of service and repair work in the field.
* The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician, but this is not essential. They must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication and customer service skills.
