Job Description
Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand to work at our dairy farm in Tarraville, 10 minutes from Yarram in the Southern Gippsland region of Victoria.
The farm has a herd of 1,150 Friesian and Friesian/Jersey cross cows, runs both autumn and spring herds, and rears up to 400 replacement heifers yearly. The dairy owns a 52‑bale rotary with ACRs, milk meters, auto‑teat spray, cow collars and auto draft. The total property size is just under 700 ha, with 270 ha of centre‑pivot irrigation with VRI and a 70 ha lateral walking irrigator. A four‑bedroom house is available on farm and accommodation is provided for the right candidate; opportunities for a partner may also be available.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive and uphold animal health and safe operating procedures.
* Perform all aspects of milking.
* Animal husbandry and pasture management.

Qualifications
* Past dairy industry experience is desirable for this position; we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude at the Farm Hand level.
