Applications Are Sought For The Following Position
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
The successful incumbent will ensure excellent service in all aspects of Accounts Payable including, but not limited to, financial and administration support across the organisation. This role is key in processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
* This is a Full Time Permanent position, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
The position could be based at any of our campus locations.
The Role
* Downloading and processing of purchase orders on a daily basis
* Downloading invoices and statements from emails
* Answering enquiries from staff and suppliers in regard to the Colleges purchasing procedure
* Processing creditors invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements to system balances
* Maintaining accounts payable records by filing documents electronically
* Preparing invoice batches for payment
* Processing and reconciling credit card receipts
* Cross training between departments
* Ad Hoc duties
Experience And Skill
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
* Excellent numerical skills
* An ability to prioritise and manage expectations
* A keen eye for detail
* An ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong capability to communicate both verbally and in writing
* Good negotiation capabilities
* Strong data management skills
* Cert IV or diploma in accounting or relevant experience
* Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with ExpenseMe Pro, TASS and Alii would be to your advantage

* at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
* at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2400 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
King's Christian College is committed to acting in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (QLD) to promote the safety and wellbeing of all students. As such, candidates will be subject to a Qld Teacher Registration check or Blue Card screening and other relevant checks as required.
