Full-time - Fixed-term position

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Practice & Quality Lead to join our Foster and Kinship Care team in Rockhampton. In partnership with the Program Coordinators, this role strengthens practice quality, service delivery and continuous improvement across the Foster and Kinship Care programs.

What will a typical day look like?

* Build and maintain close liaison with stakeholders such as carers, young pople and service providers.
* Provide practice leadership, supervision and guidance to staff to ensure trauma-informed, person-centred and evidence based practice.
* Lead quality and continuous improvement activities, including internal audits, action plans the development of practice toolds and procedures.
* Maintain accurate, high-quality documentation and participate in the on-call roster to provide timely support.

Mandatory Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in Social or Community Services, Psychology, Counselling, Child Protection or a related field.
* Knowledge of and experience with Quality Assurance systems including Human Service Quality Framework.
* Experience in advising, coaching, and mentoring staff on practice and compliance issues.

Other Requirements:

* Full COVID-19 Vaccination
* Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
* Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
