Join Our Team as a Senior Civil Engineer at Stantec
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Mackay. Reporting to the Team Leader Civil, you will manage civil design and documentation for urban, land, and subdivision projects in both public and private sectors, serving local and regional clients. Your role will involve resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines, and delivering projects with the support of a multidisciplinary team.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Design, coordinate, and manage urban, land, and subdivision projects from feasibility to construction.
* Prepare technical reports and specifications.
* Provide technical expertise to clients and support project execution.
* Manage project schedules and budgets.
* Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
* Conduct and oversee site inspections.
* Contribute to the development of civil engineering knowledge within the company.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients.
* Assist in securing and delivering projects through business development and client management.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
* Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, preferably in urban, land, and subdivisions.
* Knowledge of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction.
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
