We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for compiling and interpreting geophysical data to support analysis and modeling efforts.
Your primary focus will be on synthesizing vast amounts of geological information to drive innovation in exploration strategies. You'll play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that influence decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compile and synthesize geophysical data from various sources to support analysis and modeling efforts.
* Interpret geophysical (with an emphasis on geological) data within the context of broader data science objectives, providing insights and recommendations.
* Function as the APAC team resource for geophysics and troubleshoot problematic data where necessary.
* Work collaboratively with data scientists to integrate geophysical (emphasis on geological) data understanding into predictive models and analytical tools.
* Participate in the development and refinement of data compilation methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics.
* Demonstrated experience (8 years minimum) in geophysical data compilation, processing and interpretation for mineral exploration.
* Competence in geophysical software, GIS, remote sensing tools, and familiarity with databases.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary remote team and with clients, bridging the gap between geology and data science.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
