The Opportunity
Product Owner – Salesforce is a newly created mission-critical role responsible for leading the strategic development, optimisation, and performance of The Kids' Salesforce CRM. As we prepare for a major Salesforce uplift in ****, this role will shape the roadmap, guide the implementation, and drive organisation-wide adoption.
Working across a large and diverse portfolio—including Development, Community, Kulunga, Marketing/Communications, Philanthropy, and Government Relations—the Product Owner ensures that Salesforce becomes a reliable, integrated, and insight-driven platform powering fundraising, outreach, stakeholder engagement, and national growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the Salesforce CRM roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and the national growth strategy.
Track system performance and usage analytics to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency.
Act as the primary Salesforce ambassador across the organisation, championing best practice and enabling a strong data culture.
Lead change management and adoption initiatives to increase confidence, usage, and data literacy across employees.
Develop and deliver high-quality training, guides, and onboarding materials.
Partner with IT and external vendors to manage current and future integrations across the tech ecosystem (marketing automation tools, donation platforms).
Conveniently based in our modern offices within Perth Children's Hospital, this a full-time role.
About You
Certification in Salesforce administration or development and demonstrated experience project managing a Salesforce CRM, ideally within a non-profit, health, research, or complex multi-team organisation.
Strong product knowledge and ownership skills, including backlog management, requirements gathering, and translating user needs into technical solutions.
Proven ability to train, support, and influence users with varying levels of digital literacy.
Advanced data management skills including cleansing, validation, segmentation, reporting, and dashboards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work at pace.
Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in a non-profit or research-aligned context.
