About the Role
At Woolworths, our Proactive Services team ensures trolleys are available and stores are pristine, creating a hygienically clean environment for customers and colleagues.
What You'll Do
* Lead, coach, and develop a team in cleaning, trolley collection and waste support.
* Create a roster for your team to ensure that all daily tasks and operations are covered.
* Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity and upcoming priorities.
* Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
* Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget.
* Provide hands‑on contribution by performing core operational tasks alongside the team, offering direct support to ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day activities, including cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.
What You'll Bring
* An ambitious mindset, love of retail, and passion for people.
* Flexibility to work in different environments such as shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
* A keen eye for cleanliness and small details.
* Physical fitness essential for physically demanding tasks.
* Ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes.
* Organised to ensure your team has all the equipment and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently.
* Comfortable working with a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct, etc).
* A valid full Australian driver's licence (Green P's or full licence) essential as you may collect trolleys using our vehicles.
