Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Planner to manage our procurement process and drive production schedules.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the procurement process and drive production schedules
* Generate purchase orders based on planning schedules
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to convey product availability, timelines, delays or supply interruptions and completion dates
* Monitor and report on factory effectiveness
* Manage item costs and updating price, product and vendor details in the ERP system
* Source new products and components
* Component and final product quality control
* Coordinate logistics and incoming freight
* Monitor inventory levels, create production work orders, and monitor lead times to ensure customer orders are fulfilled within timeframes

Requirements
* Essential Skills:
* Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong production planning/scheduling experience
* Familiar with ERP or MRP systems
* Advanced computer skills, including MS Office
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
* Experience with managing Inventory and Bills of Material
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Strong Safety focus with a preventative proactive approach
