Job Title: Quarry Support Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our leadership team as a Quarry Support Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring we have the skilled resources, plant, and equipment available to deliver product on time and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a zero-harm culture across the QLD region to ensure that quarry operations meet all safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
* Work closely with quarry management teams to deliver major revenue projects, including procuring mobile plant and contract crushing resources.
* Engage and work with quarry managers to develop talent plans and growth pathways for internal staff.
* Support quarry operations in delivering capital projects and upgrades.
* Coordinate training activity and trainer/assessor resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 10+ years' experience in quarrying or project management, ideally in mining or construction materials.
* Proven track record of managing large projects and cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Safety and environmental leadership with a focus on zero-harm culture.
* SSE plus 20 certification and full driver's license.
