About the role
As Lawn Technician, you'll develop and implement a comprehensive turf management work program plan for the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (RTBG) lawn areas.
You'll oversee and conduct all aspects of turf maintenance and renovations, including aeration, scarifying, seeding, fertilizing and topdressing, and maintain the RTBG irrigation systems and horticultural machinery.

Hours and tenure
Hours per fortnight: 76.0 hours per fortnight (minimum 60.8 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment: 24 months.
Qualifications and experience
A Certificate III (Sports Turf Management Cert.
III (AHC31319) in Sports Turf Management or an equivalent level, relevant to the nature of the work, as provided by a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
Accredited competency in the use of turf equipment and machinery.
Experience in a similar role in a botanical garden or large public garden.
