Construction Labourer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Labourer to join our team in Townsville. The ideal candidate will have experience in the civil construction industry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate civil machinery.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Pothole repair, mill and replace, edge breaks, shoulder rejuvenation, emulsion seals, and paving as part of our Asphalt Work division.
* Concrete formwork and reinforcement, kerb and channel repairs/replacement, footpath repairs/replacement, concrete pipe laying, precast unit installation (pits, troughs, GPT's), and storm water drain repair for our Concreting and Drains division.
* Line marking operations, signage installation, bus shelter cleaning, road reconstruction, spotting, grade checking, and geofabric application for various Other Duties projects.
* Requirements:
* A current Queensland 'C' Class manual licence is essential for Construction Labourer roles. A current Queensland 'MR' Class licence is essential for Maintenance Labourer roles.
* A Certificate II in Civil Construction or relevant industry experience is highly preferred.
* PREFERRED Machine Tickets: Experience and tickets for operating Roller, Loader, and Excavator are highly regarded.
* Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test and Police Check.
