Your new role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Associate (2-8PQE) to join the firm's Planning & Environment team within its Real Estate & Construction practice-offering comprehensive legal services across property acquisition, planning and environmental matters, development and construction, sales, and leasing.
The team has a strong pipeline of high-profile projects, working with a diverse range of clients across the property development sector. This role provides significant client exposure, opportunities to mentor junior lawyers, and access to exceptional professional development in marketing, business growth, and commercial acumen.
The ideal candidate
Ideal expertise includes experience within mid-tier or top-tier firms, covering:
* VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria litigation
* Drafting Section 173 Agreements
* Contaminated land advisory
* Compulsory acquisition of land claims
In addition to technical legal expertise, strong client relationship management, a commercial mindset, and a commitment to outstanding service are key attributes for success.
To excel in this role, you should be an Associate with at least 1 years of PQE specialising in planning and development law.
