Job Description
The Program Lead role is responsible for delivering NASCA programs in schools, including planning, coordination, and implementation. This involves working with students to improve attendance, develop career pathways, and strengthen cultural pride and identity through life skills and long-term resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver programs that meet the needs of students and schools.
* Maintain relationships with students, community members, and schools to ensure successful program delivery.
* Mentor and support First Nation students aged 12-18 years to help them achieve their goals.
* Develop and implement life skills and school engagement activities that promote student success.
* Organize physical education activities and excursions that are safe and enjoyable for students.
* Facilitate community activities and create learning plans that meet the needs of students.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team and be willing to work weekends and overnight for residential programs.
This role requires a strong understanding of the needs of First Nation students and communities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students and communities, and a proven track record of delivering successful programs.
