They are now seeking a technically strong and high-caliber Senior Tax Accountant to play a crucial role driving the organization forward. Unlike other family office roles, this position sits within the wider corporate business that funds the family office team and the business is a large fast paced organisation and an employer of choice here in Melbourne.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Tax Operations, this role will assist in the management of all the tax reporting requirements for the group's vast and growing investment portfolio. Sitting within the wider finance and accounting team, this role will also support the accounting team with reporting requirements and manage investment reporting for the group. You will be a key liaison person with external consulting firms around Tax, Accounting and Investment.
About You
You are CA/CPA qualified, having ideally commenced your career in a chartered environment, either Big 4 or Mid-Tier within Private Clients Tax. Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, consistently displaying a willingness to provide ongoing training and support to all key users. You will have demonstrated exceptional team leadership experience, strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines throughout your time working within either a commercial/residential property business or a private family office environment.
