Financial Management Expert
We are seeking a Financial Management Expert to join our team in the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
The successful candidate will have strong financial management expertise and be able to provide high-quality advice on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve departmental objectives
* Provide expert financial advice to senior executives and stakeholders
* Analyse financial data and present recommendations for improved financial performance
* Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial reporting
* Collaborate with other teams to deliver finance-related initiatives
Requirements:
* Senior experience in financial management and analysis
* High level Finance Business Partnering skills
* Proven ability to work across complex organisations
* Strong technical skills with financial systems
* Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting and membership with a recognised accounting body
