We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join a fast‐paced pharmaceutical environment on a 3 month full‐time contract in Melbourne. This role plays a critical part in ensuring finished products are verified and released for distribution accurately and efficiently, supporting the continuous supply of high‐quality products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform verification activities for the release of finished pharmaceutical batches prior to distribution
* Review batch and transport documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Confirm product identity and verify documentation completeness
* Review temperature logs to ensure products have been transported within required conditions
* Conduct packaging checks to ensure correct coding and labelling
* Verify that all quality system requirements (including deviations and changes) have been appropriately addressed
* Liaise with manufacturing sites to raise, investigate, and support the closure of deviations
About You
* 1-2 years' experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or distribution environment
* Sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under time pressure
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment
