About the Role
We are currently seeking 2 dedicated Residential Respite Support Workers to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role supporting children and young people with disabilities in a live-in respite environment.
You will work across a mix of day and overnight shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting participants to develop daily living and life skills
* Building and maintaining positive routines and structure
* Encouraging personal growth, confidence and independence
* Providing personal care where required
* Supporting swimming and water-based activities
* Assisting with community access and school routines
* Completing shift notes and required documentation
* Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming home environment

You understand that consistency, trust and safety are critical when supporting children and young people.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in disability, youth or residential care
* Experience working with children or young people with disabilities
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Clearance
* First Aid & CPR (Senior First Aid)
* Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
* Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles
Desirable
* Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services
Role Expectations
* Ability to work a mix of:
o Day shifts: approx. 10am – 7pm
o Overnight shifts: approx. 7pm – 10am
* Availability for weekends and flexible shifts
* Comfortable working around animals and farm environments
