Position Overview


The Assistant Venue Manager (AVM) supports the Venue Manager by leading service, supervising staff, and maintaining standards. They step into the VM role when required, ensuring consistent leadership.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead floor operations during peak service.

Support training, coaching, and onboarding of FOH staff.

Resolve guest issues professionally and promptly.

Assist with rostering, payroll approvals, and cash handling.

Maintain compliance and venue presentation standards.

Communicate clearly between FOH, BOH, and management.


About You:


Experience as an AVM or senior supervisor in a fast-paced venue.

Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Calm, guest-focused, and proactive during busy services.

- Organised and detail-driven.
- Positive team player ready to step up.
