Job Overview
This is a Full-time opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to join our team at John Flynn Private Hospital, where you will play a vital role in Cancer Care and Clinical Trials.
Responsibilities
* Deliver patient-centered pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing medication safety and optimization.
* Perform clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offer patient-specific recommendations.
* Compounding, dispensing and managing clinical trial drugs and supplies.
* Liaising with various stakeholders, including project management, CRO partners, and internal staff for training implementation.
* Implement clinical trial processes and procedures and efficiently prepare documentation to be used on Clinical trials.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA.
* High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of CHARM, Merlin, and Microsoft Office.
* You are team-oriented, enjoy collaboration and are passionate about providing specialised patient care.
* Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care and the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding is highly regarded.
* Clinical Trials experience highly desirable, including knowledge of GMP, GCP, sterile compounding, and clean room work.
