Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) Employment Consultant – Monash (Position: 1)
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive case‐management services to participants to manage employment‐related barriers, empowering and equipping them with the tools and skills to enter the workforce.
* Help each participant secure sustainable employment and engage employers through referrals, reverse marketing and on‐the‐job support.
* Provide continuous support to participants and employers to maximise outcomes, obtaining documented evidence and facilitating workplace adjustments throughout the course of employment.
* Achieve or exceed all KPIs and apply an outcome‐focused, high‐performance approach to the role.
* Maintain a high level of administration, compliance and time management in line with Department requirements, based on a sound understanding of the Deed and Guidelines.
* Engage with internal and external partners to connect participants with wrap‐around services such as training providers, allied health services and community organisations.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services or other relevant areas is desirable.
* Previous experience in employment services, including advanced barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates into employment and provision of post‐placement support.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate through various methods with a wide variety of stakeholders.
* A team player with a personal commitment to contribute to a great culture.
* Ability to proactively problem‐solve, overcome objections and assist in managing barriers for people living with a disability.
* Performance‐focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs.
* Must hold a driver's licence; travel across the region will be required.
