About the Role
Perks has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team, committed to delivering exceptional accounting and business advisory services to our clients. You will collaborate closely with our Directors and Managers within a results-driven and motivated team. At Perks, we prioritise the development of each team member, offering not only collaborative tools but also a clear pathway leading to an Assistant Manager position.
Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements, interim accounts and income tax returns
* Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Prepare ATO and state tax compliance reporting
* Supervise, support, and mentor junior team members to enable their growth and development
* Collaborate with teams across the firm to provide an integrated client service
Skills and Experience
* CA qualified or near completion
* Relevant experience in business advisory services
* Technical accounting skills and compliance knowledge
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to engage with a wide range of clients
* Proven ability to mentor junior team members through effective communication and hands‐on support
* Team player, with a positive attitude and good work ethic
