About the role
Due to ongoing growth, this newly created
Area Manager
role requires a highly organised, proactive individual to lead operations and support business expansion. Responsible for a team of gardeners across the zone from
Rockingham to Mandurah
, it is essential the Area Manager lives in Perth's South to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. The role requires strategic thinking, strong operational skills, and the ability to effectively engage with both clients and staff.
Based from your home office
, this dynamic, hands-on leadership role involves regular client site visits and on-site support and training for gardening teams. Working a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings, you must be available between 7:30 am – 4:00 pm weekdays and 7:30 am – 12:00 pm Saturdays, with no conflicting commitments, to ensure reliable support to your team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage gardening teams to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance
Manage scheduling, invoicing, timesheets, and database accuracy
Drive sales through quoting, client visits, lead follow-up, and local marketing
Recruit, onboard, train, and support staff with regular communication and performance management
Oversee operational management, including vehicle and tool maintenance, financial tracking, and reporting
Maintain client satisfaction through prompt communication, issue resolution, and feedback follow-up
About you
To be considered, you will have proven experience with managing teams, including supervising staff across multiple sites, providing leadership and training, and driving team performance to meet operational goals. You will have a genuine passion and knowledge of gardening services, proven experience in driving sales and be a strong team player. With excellent attention to detail and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and colleagues, your strong customer service ethic is essential.
