The City is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the success of its road asset management initiatives.

* This role involves monitoring and researching new road infrastructure technologies to identify modern replacement options for existing road assets, focusing on solutions that meet performance, sustainability, and reliability standards while keeping whole-of-life costs as low as possible.
* The successful applicant will gather information to help create specifications and briefs for road asset investigations and data collection, supporting the Senior Engineer in meeting service standards and performance goals.
* Key responsibilities include inspecting and assessing roads to ensure they meet operational standards and legal requirements, as well as assisting with planning and helping the Senior Engineer scope estimate and prepare documents for road capital renewal projects.

Requirements
* A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, preferably with experience or interest in road design, construction, and/or maintenance, or significant relevant experience without a tertiary education.
* A current Driver's Licence.
* Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
