Underground Mine Surveyor Role
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work in underground mine surveying. The role involves providing regular surveys of the mining area to support mine planning and production activity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily underground mine surveys, including drive pickup, laser installation, and CMS/Lidar scans of voids.
* Establish primary and secondary controls for underground operations.
* Ensure accurate records are maintained, including end-of-month reporting.
* Prepare survey plans, including survey memos and emergency plans.
* Engage in project work to optimize mining efficiencies and provide general surveying services as required.
Requirements:
* Tertiary or technical qualification in surveying or spatial information.
* Solid underground experience highly regarded.
* Experience with mine surveying applications, such as Deswik software and Leica survey instruments.
* A Western Australian manual driver's license.
* A proactive attitude, collaborative approach, and commitment to safety.
