With over 40,000 members, the Broncos Leagues Club is not just a place; it's a destination and the home of the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League team.
We are on the lookout for an energetic and driven Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving operational excellence.About the Role :As our Operations Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and take a hands-on approach to oversee and guide Club operations.
This role is perfect for a dynamic leader who is ambitious and ready to take on the challenge of improving our venue's operations and driving revenue and profit growth.We plan to recruit on the basis of energy, enthusiasm, aptitude and potential and we'll tailor the PD to find a perfect balance between KPIs that will allow you to have immediate impact and some development areas where you'll be challenged to learn new skills and build your knowledge base.What You'll Do :Lead and Inspire : Set an example, manage and motivate a team of 90 staff, fostering a culture of service excellence across multiple business streams.Drive Continuous Improvement : Implement effective change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and improve business outcomes.Put customers first : Ensure our service is timely, attentive, and dynamic to meet the needs of our members and their guests.Pursue Operational Excellence : Improve systems, processes, and planning to support staff and maximise business performance through efficient resource management.Provide Hands-On Leadership : Provide hands-on assistance across the venue, prioritising service needs and driving initiatives for long-term success.Build Relationships : Develop strong external relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry networks to support our operations.What We're Looking For :Proven Track Record : Demonstrated expertise in improving a venue's operations, resulting in increased revenue and profit.Leadership Skills : Strong leadership abilities with a lead-from-the-front approach and experience in change management.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the business.Professionalism : Impeccable personal presentation and proactive time management skills.Industry Knowledge : Understanding of laws related to the Club industry, including the Liquor and Gaming Act, Industrial Relations laws, and food safety, AML-CTF, WH&S.Qualifications : A Bachelor level qualification in business or hospitality will be highly regarded as will a Diploma in Hospitality Management or ACMI completion.Licenses : Current approved manager's license, RMLV, RSG, RSA, and a national police check required prior to employment.What We Offer :At the Broncos Leagues Club, we believe in nurturing and developing our talent.
