About The Role
The Site Supervisor works alongside the team's estimators, project coordinators, contractors/suppliers and key stakeholders and reports to the Perth State Manager.
The role involves delivery of site-based WHS compliance requirements, overall project delivery, site supervision of allocated projects, ensuring high levels of site safety and quality, and timely, cost-effective delivery to clients in line with legislative and company policies.
Key Activities
Active input into repair methodologies for each site-based project
Organisation and scheduling of allocated projects
Strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames
Liaising with all stakeholders to provide regular updates
Attending and chairing site meetings with circulation of minutes
Engaging trades and monitoring progress
Forecasting monthly revenue according to project completion dates
Preparing schedules
Quality assurance
Adherence to WH&S standards
Client liaison
Managing budgets to deliver quality outcomes for clients
Working with Procurement to onboard and manage subcontractors and suppliers
Availability to travel within WA, including driving, flying, and overnight stays as required
Key Professional Skills And Qualifications (Required)
Certificate III Carpentry and Building or equivalent
Minimum five years working as a Site Supervisor/Foreman under a licensed builder, running multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in both domestic and commercial construction projects
The ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications
High attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Key Professional Skills And Qualifications (Desirable)
Certificate IV Building and Construction
Thorough understanding of the construction process, methodology, critical inspection/hold points, statutory compliance and WHS compliance
Track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
