Overview
Graduate Engineer | 2 Year FTC Level 4 - $107,204.10 per annum + 12% Superannuation. The Town of Port Hedland invites applications for a hands-on Engineering Graduate role to kick start a career in project planning and design, road and storm water drainage design, and building construction. The role reports to the Senior Project Engineer and provides engineering support across the Engineering Services team, including asset management, capital works, project planning, design and investigations.
Responsibilities
* Take a proactive role in project development, implementation and execution processes
* Assist with project administration including investigations, feasibility studies, grant applications and acquittals, tender processes and progress reports as required
* Research and prepare reports and recommendations on engineering projects
* Maintain ongoing compliance with the Town's Safety Management System and audit programs in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulations, codes of practice, safety policies and procedures
You will join a team at an exciting time as the Town embraces new technologies, a large capital works program, and other projects that enhance the Town as a place to live and work. This role is a 2 year, fixed-term contract.

* Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
* C Class Driver's Licence
* Blue/White Construction Safety Card
