About the Role:
This is a casual position cover leave replacement within the Nursing Workforce Department.
The Nursing Workforce Unit (NWU)is responsible forthe coordination of staffing replacements and allocations for nursing and administrative vacancies across RCH. The NWU works closely with the Access & Hospital Management team to ensure all wards and departments are appropriately staffed to meet their operational requirements and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. TheCasual Allocatorwill beofferedshifts acrossweekdays,weekendsand/or public holidays.
NWUoperates between 0530-2200,and the ability to be flexible whenrequiredto work across allcasual Allocatorshifts (Early and Late), 7 days aweek.
Classification for this position will range from A021- A025 (Grade 2, Year 1-5, FTE base salary $66,768-73,811.92) per annum, plus superannuation and casual loading.
What you'll achieve:
Troubleshoot and fill staffing vacancies with a positive and supportive approach
Prioritise staffing enquiries and requests that are time sensitive, ensuring ongoing transparent communication with relevant stakeholders
Support daily operations of the NWU with continuous monitoring of relevant phone and email communication
Your skills and experience:
* Digital proficiency within rostering systems or other IT software platform
* Previous experience in a health care setting
* Previous experience in a staffing/allocation's role
