About this role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to support our strategic building projects. This is a full-time position located at our central office, where you will report directly to the Property Director.
The key responsibilities of this role include ensuring accurate and timely contract administration, compliance with commercial requirements, and effective monitoring, reporting, and forecasting of project performance.
* Prepare and manage construction contracts
* Review progress claims and issue payment certificates
* Draft and prepare variations, delay notices, and extensions of time
* Oversee job costing, cost reporting, and procurement processes
* Input and maintain records in our software system
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers
* Maintain document control and compliance with Work Health & Safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying or 10+ years of industry experience
* Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations
* Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
* Construction Induction (White Card)
* Current Driver's Licence (with willingness to travel to regional locations as required)
* National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
