Your Opportunity
We're looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Casual Traffic Controllers.
In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our worksites safe by managing traffic and supporting general roadwork activities across the Whitsunday region.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and implementing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
Operating stop/slow bats and directing traffic safely around worksites
Assisting the team with basic labouring tasks such as vegetation control and general road maintenance
Operating small plant and equipment (as required)
Following all safety procedures and helping maintain a safe work environment
Reporting any equipment issues or defects
Your skills and experience
Essential
Class C Driver's licence
General Construction Safety Induction (White card)
Traffic Control
Traffic Management Implementation
