Schools Officer Grounds
We seek a dedicated professional to maintain our school grounds, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and community.
This is a temporary role open to Expressions of Interest. Any extensions will not exceed 12 months.
* Groundskeeping: Lawn maintenance, tree care, sports facility upkeep and equipment maintenance.
* Communication & Coordination: Liaising with staff and contractors regarding maintenance, lost property and supplies.
* Cleaning & Waste Management: Clearing drains, collecting waste and coordinating rubbish removal.
* Workplace Safety & Repairs: Maintaining a safe environment, storing chemicals safely and attending to repairs.
* Security: Handling security systems and locking/unlocking buildings.
* Special Needs Support: Basic maintenance of equipment for students with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
