Fruit Farm Worker Employment Type: Full‑time (38 hours per week) Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience) About Us Nguyen Thi Luong operates a small, established horticultural farming business based in Lambells Lagoon, Northern Territory. The business manages orchards at 290 Wanderrie Road and Lot 1663, Buckley Road, Lambells Lagoon, NT 0822, producing and supplying high‑quality fresh fruit — primarily mangoes and rambutans — for domestic markets across Australia. In addition to fruit production, the farm also grows a small selection of vegetable crops, including white luffa, snake beans, bitter melon and winter melon, to support rotational and off‑season activities. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Fruit Farm Worker to join our team. This full‑time role assists with orchard operations across both farm sites, contributing to the farm’s year‑round fruit and crop management, harvesting, and general production tasks. Key Responsibilities Plant, cultivate, and maintain orchard fruit trees such as mangoes and rambutans Assist with pruning, thinning, and routine orchard maintenance Set up, monitor, and maintain irrigation systems across orchard rows Apply fertilisers and crop‑protection products under supervision Harvest seasonal fruit crops and participate in limited vegetable harvest activities when required Sort, grade, and pack produce to meet commercial quality standards Monitor crop health and report any pest, disease, or irrigation issues to supervisors Operate and maintain basic farm machinery, tools and irrigation equipment safely Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools and facilities Follow all workplace health, safety and biosecurity requirements Perform other general farming duties as reasonably required across both locations Skills and Experience Previous experience in horticulture or general farm work is preferred but not essential Solid understanding of basic farm operations including planting, irrigation and crop care Ability to work outdoors in varying and hot conditions Physically fit and able to perform manual and repetitive tasks Reliable, punctual and self‑motivated with a positive attitude Able to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a small team Commitment to safe working practices and continuous productivity Vietnamese language skills are an advantage but not required, particularly for team communication on site Employment Details Position Type: Full‑time (38 hours per week) Work Locations: 290 Wanderrie Road, Lambells Lagoon NT 0822 Lot 1663, Buckley Road, Lambells Lagoon NT 0822 (Darwin region) Remuneration: $65,000 – $75,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on experience
