We are currently seeking an organised & proactive Wheel Repair Supervisor to join our team in our Mackay branch.
The Opportunity
* Permanent full-time role

The Role
* Reporting to the Workshop Manager
* Supervise a small and efficient team of wheel repairers (5 Staff – Machinist/Boilermaker/Painter trades)
* Ensure proactive and prompt response to rectifying damage or ‘wear and tear’ to the wheels of our customers
* Implement procedures to create outstanding customer value
* Monitor HSEQ accountabilities
* Facilitate work-flow through facility to meet customer expectations
* Comply with BMSA policies
About You - Essential
* Qualified boilermaker (sub arc welding experience preferred)
* Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others
* Hands-on Team leader, supervisor experience or potential
* Excellent communication skills both internal and external
* Moderate Computer/Technology Literacy (digital workflow)
* Reliable team player
* Must have current work rights in Australia
About You - Preferred
* Exposure to mining, agriculture or heavy manufacturing (experience in OTR wheel repair)
* Experience or exposure to wheel repair
