**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Marketing Consultant to join Marketing and Communication, Chancellery Division.

The Marketing Consultant is a key liaison between the faculty and the Marketing and Communication Department, developing marketing campaigns and coordinating the full range of communication activities aimed at supporting the faculty in achieving its student recruitment goals. The Marketing Consultant oversees the implementation and evaluation of the reputation and recruitment campaigns, events and strategic marketing plans for the faculty.

**About the Chancellery Division**
Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.

**About Marketing and Communication**
The Marketing and Communication Department is responsible for:

- Building and protecting QUT's brand and reputation
- Engaging and recruiting future students
- Ensuring communications from QUT are effective and of high professional standard.

As well as professional services provided to the university community, the Department is responsible for a variety of corporate communication functions and oversees relevant policies, protocols and governance arrangements.

**What you need to succeed**

To thrive in this role, you will be someone who enjoys taking the initiative to provide excellent service and support across a broad range of activities each day.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience in marketing or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic marketing plans and campaigns
- Demonstrated experience in supervising marketing and communication activities and tailoring such activities to different target audiences.
- High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in negotiation, presentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop targeted product messages for translation across web, advertising, print and digital channels.
- Demonstrated event management skills with the ability to coordinate strong faculty representation at central recruitment events and provide advice to clients for faculty-specific events.
