About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to work within a Band 1 ranked practice, recognised across Australia and Asia for its market-leading expertise. You'll advise high-profile clients—including major domestic and global corporations—across a broad spectrum of competition and consumer law matters.
These include:
* Cartel and behavioural investigations
* Merger clearances
* Regulatory advice and litigation
* Economic regulation and access matters
You'll be exposed to complex, high-stakes work across diverse sectors such as telecommunications, technology, energy, financial services, infrastructure, transport, manufacturing, and retail.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
* 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a leading law firm or regulatory body
* Strong expertise in competition, consumer, and regulatory law—ideally across both advisory and contentious matters
* A stellar academic background and a commitment to continuous learning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to manage deadlines and work both collaboratively and independently
* A genuine interest in clients' businesses and the ability to build lasting relationships
