We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and are currently looking for a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary to join our small and passionate team supporting busy Orthopaedic Surgeons. This role is flexible depending on applicant requirements of 1-2 days per week being based at our Belair offices, some occasional travel maybe required in between sites if required to cover clinic days. A competitive, above award, hourly pay rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant. This position will commence as a casual role with opportunity to convert to permanent part time.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary who is looking at getting back in to the workforce or is looking at semi retirement and enjoys working in a team environment, is passionate about patient care and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Executive Support with Specialist Consultants
* Front of house reception duties including meeting and greeting of patients in a pleasant and welcoming manner
* Handling telephone queries and patient appointment bookings
* Medicare online and Eclipse billings
* Diary management
* Theatre management and bookings
* Dictaphone and typing preferred but not essential
Key Requirements:
* Orthopaedic or Specialist experience is highly advantageous but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude wanting to gain excellent experience within a busy specialist practice
* Excellent phone manner and presentation
* Exceptional customer service skills
* High attention to detail with advanced written and verbal communication skills
* Have a high level of organisational skills and time management
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of Genie software program is an advantage but not essential
* Flexible with hours
