Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain UHF Base Stations, Mobile, and Portable Radio Equipment
Set up and support High-Density Microwave Radio Link Systems
Install and service Data Communications/Transmission Systems, including multiplexers and modems
Implement and maintain Public Address Equipment in large-scale environments
Manage and troubleshoot DC Power Systems and associated infrastructure
Install and support Telephony Systems
Work with PLC, SCADA, and Telemetry Systems for process control and data acquisition
Implement and maintain Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems
Install and maintain Copper Cable Communication Systems
Deploy and test Optical Fibre Systems and associated network equipment
Install and configure Commercial or Industrial CCTV Systems
Set up and manage Analogue and Digital Recording Equipment
Install and support Video Multiplexing and Control Systems
Key experience requirements:(due to the urgent nature of this assignment, only Perth based candidates with full working rights can be considered for this position at this time)
ACMA Open Cabler Registration with endorsements in fibre optic, structured and coaxial cabling is essential.
Relevant trade status or equivalent and possession of, or progress towards, a relevant trade qualification and/ or demonstrated experience in the below listed communication systems.
Considerable experience and demonstrated ability in the maintenance and fault findings of Communications Systems equipment
On offer:
6 month contract, likely to be long term and ongoing
8.5 hour paid day, with OT available on eve/weekends
