About The Role

ECTARC is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail to join the Accounts and payroll teams at our Port Kembla head office. This role is primarily responsible for assisting the Payroll Officer with the processing of ECTARC's payroll for over 200 employees and providing backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

We have professional, experienced leadership and administrative teams at our head office who support and resource our ECTARC services and teams to strengthen quality learning and education programs. Essential Criteria

* Minimum 12 months experience in a payroll or accounts position
* Understanding of payroll processes and procedures, including tax, superannuation, workers compensation
* Strong numerical ability and data entry skills with an attention to detail
* Ability to handle sensitive information.
* Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Customer service focus
* The ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.


Desirable Criteria

* Experience with Roubler payroll platform or similar
* Qualifications in accounting or finance
