Due to growth, we're seeking a motivated and dynamic individual that to join their team in Mackay as a Branch Supervisor. The Mackay Branch Supervisor is a hands-on, working leader responsible for balancing front-office coordination with on-the-floor leadership to ensure the branch operates efficiently, safely, and with a high level of accuracy and customer focus. This role acts as the operational link between the Branch Manager, administration, the shop floor and their other branches. It ensures work is well planned, correctly captured in systems, and executed effectively across warehouse, dispatch, and fitting activities. The Role: Support the Branch Manager with daily planning, job prioritisation, resource allocation, team supervision and mentorship. Owning the end-to-end flow of work from receipt through to dispatch. Provide consistent, visible leadership across warehouse and fitting teams. Work alongside the team ("on the tools") where required to maintain workflow and resolve issues. Lead daily pre-starts/toolbox talks, setting expectations for safety, quality, and delivery. Maintain visibility and control of all active work orders Ensure accurate job creation, parts allocation, status updates, and job completion in the system Coordinate with administration and customer service teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow. Support reporting on workflow status, delays, risks, and operational performance. Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks, delays, and errors in real time. Ensure safety and quality compliance including participation in incident investigations, hazard identification, and corrective actions. What we're looking for: Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter or similar) Strong operational experience in warehouse, logistics, or mechanical/fitting environment Experience in mining, industrial, or equipment repair environments Exposure to Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement systems desirable Demonstrated experience in a hands-on supervisory or leading hand role Proven ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced operational environment Experience using ERP systems Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to operate independently and take ownership in a leadership capacity Commitment to WHS and safe work practices Benefits: Full-time permanent role (Monday to Friday 6.30am or 7am start) $55 per hour super Company ute Exciting role with variety Great team environment Opportunity for upskilling and further career development If you're ready for the next step in your career, APPLY TODAY!
