Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of General Manager. This is a senior management position that requires strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive results.

Megadeck is a leading provider of staging systems in Australia, and we are looking for someone who can champion our vision, mission, and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our national strategic plans, tracking performance across our business, and inspiring teams to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Governance: Develop and drive the strategic business plans and their implementation, champion our vision, deliver business objectives, and build upon our standards and targets.
2. Management and Leadership: Lead and manage individual business branches, mentor managers and individuals, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and represent the company at various events and functions.
3. Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial risks, ensure branch profits are maximised through tight systems and processes across business departments.
4. Sales and Marketing: Lead the sales effort through management of the national sales manager, set and manage the company's marketing plan in conjunction with external marketing partners, recognise business growth opportunities, and engage the national sales team to develop and foster strong relationships with key customers.
5. Human Resources: Work with the HR Manager to deliver HR initiatives, manage performance reviews, conduct disciplinary meetings and performance management meetings, and ensure the recruitment processes attract and retain the best people in line with our core values.
6. Operations: Drive operational performance through robust targets and leadership of the National Operations Manager and his teams; drive input cost savings; review pipeline forecasts and output; and implement programmes to maintain the highest work safety and quality standards.
7. Systems: Ensure systems support clear and accurate reporting, stock management and efficiency. Manage updates and budgeting of IT equipment requirements and systems development to support clarity, timeliness and decision making.
