Job Description Life in the fast lane

As our Commercial Partnerships Manager, you will be joining the Commercial Partnerships & Sales team who make up part of our Commercial Department.

This is a permanent position, based at our head office in St Kilda.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Commercial Partnerships, you will be responsible for the end-to-end servicing, delivery, and retention of AGPC's portfolio of commercial partners. This role ensures all contractual obligations are met while delivering exceptional client service that drives renewal, upsell opportunities, and long-term strategic alignment. Working collaboratively with internal teams and in close partnership with the New Partnership team, the role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, innovative partnership activations and hospitality experiences across both the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Additionally, you will:

* Manage a portfolio of commercial partners, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the event lifecycle, including relationship retention and account growth.
* Oversee the implementation of all contractual deliverables including partnership activations, digital content, promotion/marketing campaigns branding, media, hospitality, experiences and signage.
* Work with the hospitality team to coordinate the planning and delivery of hospitality entitlements and experiences, ensuring they are executed to a premium standard.
* Manager and lead post-event debriefs with partners, including preparation of performance summaries, insights, and recommendations for future opportunities.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management and partnership servicing.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver on contractual obligations.
* Demonstrated experience working with local and global partners is advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience in negotiation and partner retention.
* Proficiency with CRM and account management tools (e.g., Monday.com, or similar).
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a live-event environment.
* A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or be willing to obtain.
