OverviewOur client requires and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their busy team.
You will be working with another experienced Senior Payroll Officer.Note: Remove any mentions of salary insights or job insights not relevant to the role.ResponsibilitiesPreparing and processing fortnightly and monthly pay runs for multiple companies;Calculating and processing Payroll Tax returns for multiple states;Lodging and tracking Workers Compensation claims and calculating premium adjustments for multiple states;Assisting with the preparation and lodging of the Workplace Gender Equality report;Assisting with and lodging various Australian Bureau of Statistics and other statutory reports forms;Assisting with the annual insurance renewals, lodgement of claims and assisting with broker queries;Assisting other members of the Finance team on regular monthly tasks and ad hoc projects as required;Any other additional tasks and responsibilities that may be added from time to time.Assist with the process of sourcing an alternative payroll system;OtherAssisting with the annual general insurance renewal report and Directors & Officers renewal report – requesting, collating and following up on information required;Lodge and follow up on claims;Assist with broker queries;Ad hoc requests;Skills & ExperienceOur client is looking for a senior payroll officer with proven experience in working across different awards and delivering withinMinimum 3-5 years experienceThe ability to solve problemsAbility to work both autonomously and also be part of a teamNoteThe original content may include placeholders for salary insights or analytics tools; these have been removed to maintain focus on the role.
