Job Description This 12‑month fixed‑term contract offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven individual to join the People & Culture Team in Victoria, based in Richmond. The Talent Acquisition Partner reports to the People & Culture Manager and is responsible for developing and embedding a talent acquisition framework that supports end‑to‑end recruitment solutions, attracting, assessing, and securing high‑quality talent. This role partners closely with hiring leaders to align recruitment strategies with workforce and organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop a talent acquisition strategy and framework that incorporates best practices and embed it across the business.
Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and workforce plans.
Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing through to offer and onboarding.
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, including direct and proactive sourcing and talent pooling.
Provide market insights and advice on talent availability, remuneration, and hiring trends.
Deliver a high‑quality candidate experience that reflects and enhances the organisation’s values and brand.
Conduct screening, shortlisting, interviews, and coordinate selection and assessment processes.
Manage recruitment activity through the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment legislation, policy, and diversity principles.
Contribute to employer branding, recruitment projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
CPHR certification is preferred.
Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Partner role (in‑house and/or agency).
Previous experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and recruitment best practice.
Experience developing and embedding talent acquisition frameworks and processes.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
Ability to manage multiple roles and competing priorities effectively.
Commercial and pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship‑building skills.
High attention to detail and professional judgement.
