Your new role
As a Litigation Lawyer you will handle complex litigation cases in various jurisdictions across Australia, providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include:
* Drafting various legal court documents.
* Representing clients in pre-trial reviews, pre-hearing conferences, settlement conferences, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
* Liasing and negotiating with insurers and third-party lawyers.
* Conducting detailed legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
* Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and legal precedents relevant to motor vehicle litigation.
What you'll need to succeed
* 1-2 years PQE experience in civil litigation
* Unrestricted practising certificate preferred.
* Proven ability to manage high-volume portfolio.
* Strong negotiation skills with a commercial acumen.
* Ability to work with deadlines and targets.
* An understanding of loss of use and credit hire law preferred.
* Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* A keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards and professionalism.
