Are you ready for a hands‐on role delivering expert service across pumps, irrigation and automation systems?
About the Role
As a Service Technician (Electrical) you will have the opportunity to provide safe and high-quality electrical and irrigation services that support service and project delivery across Darling Irrigation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out installations, repairs and service work on a variety of pumps and water systems, including stock water, solar pumps, diesel engines, drip irrigation, centre pivots, filtration systems and automation
* Undertaking fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment with a focus on irrigation pumps, filtration systems and automation
* Demonstrating clear and open communication with customers and a flexible approach.
* Working with a team environment with a strong desire for the team to succeed.
* Working unsupervised on location with a strong commitment to safety.
About You
You will have:
* An Electrical Trade Qualification
* Well-developed technical and product knowledge in the irrigation industry, particularly in pressurised irrigation systems, pump stations, centre pivots, filtration, automation and other irrigation systems, and solar installation experience (desirable)
* Relevant licences and certifications (for example, white card, manual drivers licence, and HR licences)
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and / or resources at one time
* High attention to detail and strong customer service skills
